||16' Century on a 17' AC-17 Moody Trailer. Nice old boat I just pulled out of my barn to dust off and sell. A project I will not get too. Dry boat - inside storage its entire life, originally from Georgia. Years ago the previous owner started a restoration. Rebuilt the engine and transmission - and started to replace the top decking. The engine was never run. Always dry and under cover - no rodents. Appears to have a thin layer of canvas or possible fiberglass over exterior hull - not sure what that is but very thin.
I have: Windshields and good frame, Center Dash cover, Prop, lots of deck hardware, Gas tank, rebuilt Carb's, Thick file with paperwork. Lots of important and rare parts. Gauges still all there and wired up. Im not a wood boat expert but if you ask me a question - you can count on an honest answer. We have a ton of parts and hardware that came with this boat.
Graymarine V8, dual sidedraft carbs, Model C-178, serial #: T4126
Im sure there are some missing parts and some parts that are hugely rare and valuable.
The engine and trans are super clean but have been sitting sealed up a long time on a complete rebuild - expect work to be needed. The top decking is missing except for the last run along the stern. Appears solid inside - great access with the deck off so let me know what you want inspected. Although I have owned this boat for many years - I do not have a title for the boat or trailer. Hard to part with it but maybe you can get it done. How about $2,000.00. Outside of Philadelphia. Call to discuss: John 484-678-0841
